ixbleedxfire: did-you-kno: It’s called the Pemba Flying Fox. Source Oh sweet Jesus, this can’t be real… It’s real but the above picture is misleading. The bat does have a six foot wingspan but only weighs about 1.5 lbs (~600 grams).

That is a doll. You can even make your own, the maker sells the pattern on etsy.  Polar bears are born blind and helpless, and while they *are* some of the smallest newborn mammals compared to their adult size, they are still quite a bit bigger at roughly 12 inches long (the length of an average ruler). Their noses, eyes and paw pads are pink when they are born and darken later. Polar bears also have five claws, while this adorable doll has four.  Here’s a pair of newborn polar bears.
